What is it?

The Padrón Municipal is the administrative record where the neighbours of a municipality are stated. That information constitutes a proof of residence in the municipality and of the habitual domicile.

The Padrón Municipal is the only source that the Government uses in order to obtain official numbers of population.

 

Advantages

Assures the health assistance in Spain, if later you apply for the S.S. Health Card.

Allows the access to the Social Services of the Town hall.

Allows to take part in the programs that every municipality develops to improve the living conditions of the neighbours.

Accreditation of the domicile in order to join a school, university, etc.

Inclusion in the electoral roll.

How to register

Offices are in the Castillo in Sabinillas.

Timetable:

Wednesday from 12:30 to 14:00

Friday from 9:15 to 11:30.

 

Documentation Required:

• NIE or Passport.

• Title Deed if you own a property.

• Rental Contract if you are a Tenant.

• Utiliity bill with your name on it.
